Returns

We accept returns on unopened and unused Gyotaku kits within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible, the kit must be in its original packaging with all seals intact. Because our kits contain consumables (ink and paper), we cannot accept returns once the product has been opened or used.

• Process: You must email us at [email protected] to receive a Return Authorization before shipping your item.
• Shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
• Refunds: Once inspected, we will refund the product price only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damages & Defective Items

If your kit arrives damaged (e.g., leaking ink or damaged paper), please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery.

• Please include a photo of the damage and the shipping box.
• We will send a replacement for the damaged component or the entire kit at no cost to you.

Exchanges & “DIY Mishaps”

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. However, if you are a DIY enthusiast and simply had a “learning curve” moment, contact us! We offer discounted “Refill Packs” to help you get back to printing without buying a whole new kit.

Sale Items

Items purchased using a discount code are eligible for return under our standard policy. Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” are non-returnable.
